Indoor Kids Photography for a Turning One Shoot in Faridabad
R was an absolute joy to photograph. He was a natural and was ready for the shoot from the get go, no warm up time needed and no fuss, just pure comfort in front of the camera. This indoor kid photoshoot turned out to be one of the most natural sessions I have done in a while.
His beautiful home, especially his nursery bathed in natural light, was the venue for this shoot. That soft even light through the nursery window ended up shaping some of the best frames of the day and it is exactly this kind of natural light photography that makes home photoshoot sessions so rewarding.
His interaction with his parents, his toys and his surroundings in general was a pleasure to capture. I personally love these home-based family photoshoot sessions, since they let the child be in their own natural habitat, which adds so much to their comfort. The result is refreshingly natural and heartwarming portraits, the kind that feel like real life rather than a posed shoot. This is exactly what family photojournalism and candid family photography are all about, real moments over stiff poses.
