Wedding photography
I love to be that photographer who is unobtrusive & "candid" enough to be able to wait for the decisive moment and make images that are photojournalistic (PJ) in nature. At the same time, I do not hesitate to have quick tastefully "posed" sessions of the couple & the immediate family. It is so important to have "formal" portraits shot on the day of your wedding that can be hung up on the wall and passed on to the next generation! You will see this combination approach in the wedding photo-stories shared below.

My excitement knew no bounds when these people booked me to cover their wedding as well. I looked forward to covering my first ever Kashmiri pandit wedding. And I wasn't disappointed! Flavourful traditions, warm families, beautiful decor and most importantly, lip smacking Kashmiri cuisine.
The pre-wedding events from groom side were held in The Bristol Gurgaon and that of the bride in Fortune hotel, Delhi. It was also the venue for the main wedding event.

A Gurudwara wedding in Delhi photographed for a dear former colleague, covering the Sangeet, Anand Karaj ceremony, reception and vidai. This set reflects my candid and documentary approach to Sikh wedding photography, with a focus on rituals, family moments and the shift from ceremony to celebration.

Covering P&N’s traditional wedding in Churu was my first ever outstation project. I was overcome with joy seeing the traditional frescos that adorned the walls of Maljhi-ka-kamra, the hotel owned by the groom and the venue for the wedding.
