Earlier this year, I had the honor of photographing a beautiful housewarming ceremony at a stunning villa on the outskirts of Bangalore. The day began with a heartwarming moment—a cow and her calf were welcomed to bless the new home, symbolizing purity and prosperity. This traditional touch added a unique charm to the event.
A key highlight was that the ceremony was led by a woman priest, Mrs. Brahmaramba. Her presence brought a fresh, modern feel to the ritual, as she ensured that both M and S actively participated in the poojas and havans. It was inspiring to witness this balance of tradition and inclusivity.
Through candid photography, I captured the genuine emotions of the day—the family’s smiles, the children’s playful moments, and the warmth that filled the air.
