I had captured A's very first newborn photoshoot, and four months later, I was back to document a beautiful new chapter in his story, his birth announcement party.
There's something special about this tradition of introducing a new baby to the world only after some time has passed. Those first few months are precious, giving the mother and baby uninterrupted time to bond and letting the little one slowly settle into the world before the excitement of family and friends meeting them for the first time.
This one was an all-blue themed party and it was full of relatives and well-wishers who had come to bless the little one and celebrate with the family. The soft winter afternoon light in Delhi added such a nice mood to the whole event, it made for such lovely, warm photos.
As a baby and family event photographer, days like these are always special to shoot. Between the decor, the little rituals, and all the love pouring in from family and friends, there's so much warmth to capture in a birth announcement party.
