From Samar's First Birthday Photoshoot to His Second
It felt really nice to meet Samar again after about a year, especially since I had covered his first birthday photoshoot as well. Watching a child grow across two milestone birthday celebrations is always a special kind of full circle moment for me as a kids photographer.
His party was meticulously designed by his mom, Shweta, who made sure it was as fun as it could possibly be. A heady mix of a bouncy castle, joy ride aeroplanes and plenty of swings and slides had every kid at the party completely hooked. This 2nd birthday event was held at their residence in Noida and saw participation from Samar's friends as well as family relatives, filling the outdoor lawn with energy right from the start.
The theme of the party revolved around firemen and how they save the day. A massive fire truck setup, fire hoses, fireman cutouts and building cutouts were carefully placed throughout the open outdoor lawn area, turning the space into a mini rescue scene that kids could not get enough of. Themed birthday photoshoots like this one always add an extra layer of storytelling to the photos.
The goodies and cake table was a treat to the eyes, styled with so many carefully thought out, themed snacks and savouries. Details like these are often what tie an entire birthday celebration photoshoot together, and they make for some of the best flat lay and detail shots from the day.
