Delhi winters are special. Soft sunshine, cool weather and peaceful green spaces make them perfect for outdoor photography. This maternity photoshoot with at Lodhi Garden was a beautiful morning, I will always remember.
Streaks of sunlight filtered through the trees as we walked around looking for the right spots. There were smiles, laughter and four cups of hot tea before and after the shoot. Simple moments like these become the most memorable.
As a maternity photographer in Delhi (and now in Bengaluru), this photoshoot felt easy and natural from start to finish. Preetika and Rishi have an amazing bond, and that made it easy to capture their real emotions in every picture. No forced poses, no awkward pauses, just two people enjoying a big moment in their life together.
Preetika works as a school teacher, while Rishi has a successful corporate job. Even with busy schedules, they made time to slow down and enjoy this pregnancy photoshoot in Delhi. It was truly beautiful to see how excited they both were to start this new chapter of their lives as parents.
Lodhi Garden is one of the most loved maternity photoshoot places in Delhi, and it is easy to see why. The greenery, the historic architecture and the soft morning light create the perfect backdrop for timeless maternity portraits. Autumn adds another layer to this. The light is softer, the crowds are smaller in the early hours and the whole park feels made for photography.
